Is Physical Therapy the Right Next Step for Your Pain?
Most people who call us about pain are in one of these four situations.
Pain that has not gone away on its own
You gave it time. You rested it. Weeks turned into months, and it is still there or it keeps returning to the same spot.
You have been managing it instead of treating it
You have changed how you sit, lift, sleep, and walk to work around the pain. That is coping, and it usually costs you more movement over time.
You have had injections and the relief wore off
The shot helped for a while, then it faded. Nothing changed about why the pain started in the first place.
You have been told surgery is the next step
You are not ready for that, or you want to know whether conservative care could work first. That question deserves a real answer.
Not sure which one fits you? Call us (561) 834-3330 and we will tell you straight.

What Pain Management Looks Like at a Physical Therapy Clinic
For most people, "pain management" brings to mind injections, nerve blocks, and prescription medication. That is not what we do.
MotionPro is a physical therapy clinic. We treat pain by finding what is producing it, which is often a joint that has stopped moving well, a muscle that is not firing when it should, or a movement pattern that has been loading the same tissue for years. Then we work to change it with hands-on treatment and targeted exercise.
The distinction matters. A procedure can interrupt a pain signal. Physical therapy addresses the mechanics underneath it. For most musculoskeletal pain, that is where lasting change comes from.
We are not the right fit for every case. Some pain needs imaging, a physician's evaluation, or a procedure before therapy makes sense. When we see that, we say so and we help you find the right provider.
What Treatment Helps You Do
Reduce pain without medication
Move without guarding or compensating
Sit, stand, and sleep more comfortably
Lower the chance of the pain coming back
Restore range of motion
Rebuild strength around the painful joint
Return to work and daily activity
Pain We Treat
We treat musculoskeletal pain throughout the body. These are the conditions we see most often.
Do not see your condition listed? Call us. We will tell you honestly whether physical therapy is the right starting point for your case.

What Your Care Looks Like, Step by Step
No guesswork and no open-ended schedule. Here is the actual sequence.
Full evaluation
We start with a complete evaluation. We go through your history, what you have already tried, how the pain behaves across the day, and how you actually move. This takes the entire first appointment.
What we found, explained in plain terms
You leave the first visit knowing what we believe is driving the pain and what the plan is. No vague answers and no waiting several weeks to find out.
Hands-on treatment and targeted exercise
Each session combines manual treatment with exercise selected for your case. Your therapist works with you for the full appointment and adjusts based on how you respond that day.
Progression and discharge
As the pain settles, the work shifts toward strength, control, and the specific activities that matter to you. The goal is discharge, not a standing appointment.
Experience line to place under the four steps: In our clinic, the doctor who evaluates you is the doctor who treats you at every visit after that. Nobody is reading your case off a chart for the first time in week three.

The Treatment Methods We Use
We combine these based on what your evaluation shows. Most plans use several.
The therapist who evaluates you is the therapist who treats you every visit through discharge. Nobody is reading your case off a chart for the first time in week four.

Already Tried Injections, Rest, or Medication?
This is the most common conversation we have, and it deserves a straight answer.
Injections, medication, and rest can all be appropriate. They are also mostly aimed at the pain itself rather than at what is generating it. That is why relief often fades and the same pain returns in the same place.
Physical therapy works on the other side of the problem: the joint that will not move, the muscle that will not hold, the pattern that keeps reloading irritated tissue. Sometimes it works alongside what your physician is doing. Sometimes it is what makes the difference on its own.
[EXPERIENCE LINE 3 - placeholder pending Dr. Cabezas input] In our experience, many patients who call us have never had anyone watch them move. They have had scans and they have had treatment aimed at the site of the pain, but the mechanics producing it were never assessed.
Where physical therapy tends to help
-
Pain that has lasted weeks or months without resolving
-
Pain that returns after injections or medication wear off
-
Pain that is worse with specific positions or activities
-
Weakness, stiffness, or limited range of motion alongside the pain
-
Cases where surgery has been raised and you want to try conservative care first
-
Recovery that has stalled after a previous course of therapy
When you should see a physician first
Some presentations need medical evaluation before therapy is appropriate. We screen for these at your evaluation, and if physical therapy is not the right starting point for you, we will tell you and point you toward who is. [CONFIRM: Dr. Cabezas to supply the specific red-flag screening criteria the clinic uses.
What Treatment Costs and How Payment Works
We will be direct with you, because most clinics are not.
MotionPro does not accept insurance. We are a cash-pay practice.
Here is what that buys you. Your appointment is one-on-one with a doctor of physical therapy for the full session. You see the same therapist every visit, so nobody is relearning your case from a chart. There is no rotating staff, no shared floor time, and no session cut short because three other patients are waiting.
For pain that has already been through the system once, that level of attention is usually the variable that has been missing.
Call (561) 834-3330 and we will walk you through current rates and what your plan would look like.

Why Patients Choose MotionPro for Pain
Treating pain well is not a matter of equipment. It comes down to how carefully someone assesses the problem and how much attention they give you while you work through it.
Many practices in the area book patients in overlapping blocks and hand the session to an aide. We built this clinic the opposite way. One patient at a time, in a quiet space, with the same doctor of physical therapy from evaluation through discharge.
We are also a participating member of the Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation National Network. HSS is ranked first in the world for orthopedics, and that membership reflects the standard of care we hold ourselves to.
